Een korte geschiedenis van Belfius Immo<\/span><\/h3>\n

In 1982 werden de beperkte vastgoedontwikkelingen binnen het toenmalige Artesia Bank ondergebracht in de vennootschap Artesimmo.<\/p>\n

In eerste instantie beperkte deze activiteit zicht tot de ontwikkeling van het Europees Parlement. Een verdere ontwikkeling binnen de kantorenmarkt vloeide hieruit voort. In het kader van deze Strategie gebeurde de acquisitie van de vennootschap Brussels Business Center met de voormalige iconische \u201cMartinitoren\u201d gelegen op het Karel Rogierplein in portefeuille. Hoewel initieel de \u201cMartinitoren\u201d herontwikkeld zou worden en doorverkocht, besliste het Directiecomit\u00e9 van de Bank om hier voortaan haar hoofdzetel, de Huidige Belfius toren, te huisvesten.<\/p>\n

Na de fusie van Dexia Bank en Artesia Bank\/Bacob Bank in 2003 wijzigde de naam naar DEXIMMO. Vanaf dit moment wordt de scope ruimer en wordt er ook ingezet op andere vastgoedontwikkelingen en persoonlijke opvolging van projecten.<\/p>\n

In 2012 worden alle vastgoedontwikkelingen gebundeld onder de nieuwe vennootschap BELFIUS IMMO.\u00a0Tot 2015 was BELFIUS IMMO vrijwel uitsluitend actief voor Corporate klanten.\u00a0Sinds 2016 wordt er een nieuwe stap gezet als vastgoedontwikkelaar van residentieel vastgoed op kernlocaties.<\/p>\n

Belfius Immo is een 100% dochtervennootschap van Belfius Bank en maakt als dusdanig deel uit van de Groep \u2018Belfius Bank & Verzekeringen\u2019.
Om haar vastgoedontwikkelingen de nodige flexibiliteit te garanderen, veerkracht te geven, werden deze ondergebracht in een onafhankelijke vennootschap. Zo beschikt Belfius Immo over haar eigen medewerkers, Raad van Bestuur die volledig onafhankelijk van de Groep haar eigen beslissingen kan nemen. En dewelke ad hoc in functie van de noodzaak kan bijeengeroepen worden voor het nemen van beslissingen, dikwijls noodzakelijk en onontbeerlijk bij deze activiteit.
Zo staan het management en de leden van de Raad van Bestuur in nauw contact met elkaar zodat beslissingen snel kunnen genomen worden.<\/p>\n
